Verificada Wonderful experience with an excellent guide! Loved our tour around Comuna 13 with Henry. He was very knowledgeable and also flexible - we had two very young children with us and he adjusted the pace to ensure they could keep up with the walking. He shared so many insights about the area, and we learnt so much. A real highlight of the trip, and Henry was excellent. Great way to spend a day.Verificada A Tour to Remember! Our visit to La Piedra del Peñol with Julio as our guide was truly unforgettable. Julio was kind, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable—not just about Colombia’s history and culture, but also about so many random, interesting facts. There were many moments where it felt like he was part of our group, not just our guide.Climbing the rock was both fun and adventurous. Tip: bring comfortable shoes and hydrate the night before—it makes a big difference! After the climb, we went jet skiing on the massive lake. The views were stunning, and although we didn’t go too far to avoid getting lost, it was still an amazing experience.Julio then recommended a restaurant called La Fogata—the food was delicious! If you like spice, definitely try their homemade salsa. Afterward, we explored the colorful streets of Guatapé, where there are plenty of shops for souvenirs. The vibrant buildings and beautiful “zocalos” (decorative panels) are a must-see—each one tells a unique story.Overall, this tour was the highlight of our trip, and we left feeling like we had gained a new friend in Julio. Highly recommend!Verificada Great Narration Oscar was a wealth of knowledge and gave some great background to all the downtown sites. He’s a great narrator and we enjoyed his company.Verificada Awesome city tour experience We toured the city and got to view many historical sites, we also viewed the city from the air in the Sky Cable Car come on my son then i'm always like. We also tried exotic foods which were delicious. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we highly recommend for everyone new to Medellin.Verificada Wonderful hands on experience! Book it! If you can only do one day trip from Medellín, take this tour. Oscar is a fabulous guide and Sandra and Alicia are a very gracious mother/daughter team that opens their house and farm to visitors. It's a hands on tour, from picking the cacao pods to roasting and grinding the beans and making your own chocolate bars with custom flavors. It's a much shorter ride than going to Guatapé, and you still get the sense of the mountains outside Medellín. Their farm is also filled with coffee trees, and various fruit trees and flowers. Lots of birds too! One of the most authentic tours we've ever been on, and we have visited dozens of countries. Don't hesitate to book it!Verificada Amazing tour of Medellin Highlights We had an amazing time on our tour with Oskar and learned so much about Medellín! Oskar picked us up right from our hotel and made the whole experience seamless. Our first stop was Botero Square, which was incredible. Oskar had such a wealth of knowledge about the artist and shared the fascinating history behind each bronze statue. We then explored some of the city’s coolest buildings and enjoyed seeing beautiful art along the way. The highlight at the end was a visit to a local fruit stand, where we got to try so many delicious fruits—most of which were completely new to us.Overall, this was a 5-star experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Medellín!Verificada Best day out with Andres Great day with Andres, he really looked after us and made sure we got a lot out of our Guatapé trip.
