Publicado en Tripadvisor Glenda TVerificada New found appreciation for Medellin The whole experience was great. I liked the pace of our tour. Oscar was very informative. I learned a lot about the culture and history of the city. I have a deeper appreciation for Medellin. Beautiful city!Publicado en Tripadvisor Alfredo MVerificada Oscar is Excellent! Oscar was a delightful, highly knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. You can experience and learn so much from him. Thank you for making the visit to Medellin so memorable.Publicado en Tripadvisor Shruthi TVerificada Highly recommend. Oscar was amazing! We loved our tour to Communa 13 with him explaining little details and big ones. He kept both the kids and adults engaged and took care of everything we asked from pick up to drop off. Highly recommend him for all Medillin tours. Thank you Oscar for a great experience!Publicado en Tripadvisor Albert CVerificada Private guide a must Our guide Yuly, was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. We learned a lot from her! It’s so worth it to do a private tour at Communa 13. Spaces are tight and tons of information and history to learn. So having a private guide is a must. Yuly did an excellent job!Publicado en Tripadvisor Zulaika ZVerificada La visita fue muy instructiva La visita fue muy instructiva y la familia fue muy amable; Oscar fue muy servicial.Publicado en Tripadvisor Martin FVerificada Amazing guide to a beautiful area! Amazing experience with Oscar and his company Tourguides Medellín! Visited Colombia for five days for the first time with my two sons (age 11 and 17)…our experience with Tourguides Medellín was the best part of our trip! We toured the city center, saw Botero sculptures, visited Comuna 13 and rode a cable car to see the beautiful landscape from an elevated position. Separately, we did a day trip to Guatapé and a small family-run coffee and cacao finca. Oscar (and Julio) were incredibly friendly and helpful, and extremely professional and punctual. Superb communication. Gave recommendations on local shopping and low-key activities for my family and also arranged airport transportation for us. All aspects of the guide service were more than worth the reasonable cost ($60 pp for city tour, $80 pp for Guatapé and $110 pp for finca tour) to make the most of our limited time in this beautiful part of the world. We hope to return and see Oscar and his other guides again soon!Publicado en Tripadvisor Leena PVerificada My favorite activity in Colombia! We spent 10 days in Medellin and Jardin and this was my favorite thing we did during our vacation! This tour was INCREDIBLE. Our guide, Oscar, was so warm and kind and helpful. He did a great job of engaging our kids in the tour and conversation and made it all really accessible and fun. We speak Spanish so we did our tour in Spanish but his English was also quite good so I think either is an option. We drove about 1.5 hours to this beautiful family owned finca where Sandra and Oscar led us on a chocolate making journey. We got to learn about the different types of cacao plants, pick the fruit, scrape out and taste the seeds, then we learned about the process to go from seed to chocolate bar. My kids loved grinding the chocolate into powder themselves, choosing their flavors/ingredients to mix in and making their own chocolates. The setting is serene and beautiful and the family was very kind and welcoming. I 100% recommend!Publicado en Tripadvisor ChazVerificada Phenomenal I did not know what to expect when I signed up. I felt it would be interesting to learn the process of making chocolate. It was much more than that. I had Oscar as my guide. He was awesome, explaining regions and history on our drive up. When at the location which is extremely beautiful we met with the family that runs the farm. They were welcoming and friendly and it was such an organic experience. Picking the Cocao, seeing and experiencing the process. Being part of the process. I absolutely loved this. The chocolate was phenomenal. By the time you’re done it’s sad leaving. You really feel like family.Publicado en Tripadvisor Jen from Toronto CanadaVerificada Enjoyable experience set at a good pace Since I was the only participant, it was like having a private tour with Yuli. It was an enjoyable experience set at a good pace...not rushed. The tour guide, Yuli is down to earth, kind, personable and knowledgeable. If you can, ask for Yuli when you book this tour. Thank you Yuli for showing me this part of your city.Publicado en Tripadvisor Andrew PVerificada Guatape and Coffee Tour and City Tour Oscar is an amazing tour guide and we loved the guatape and coffee/city tours we did. We were so impressed with Oscar’s ability to handle a large group.
